Once more a flat tire? With new bicycle tubes, a mobile bicycle repair shop can save the day. Who wants to push a broken bike to the workshop with a flat tire? Regardless of whether a flat tire at the front or the tire at the back is broken: We replace the tube and, if desired, the tire at the front or rear. We only change bicycle tires when it is really necessary and make your bike roadworthy again immediately. Here you can choose between standard bicycle tires from Schwalbe or Continental, as well so-called inflatable bicycle tires which have a significantly higher defense against shards and nails on the road. Although they are a bit more expensive, we still recommend them, especially in big cities with frequently unclean roads.
Broken bicycle spoke
To replace a broken spoke is fundamentally possible with just a little time. If a spoke is loose or curved, a bike mechanic can come by, tighten it on site and center the wheel. With the FLASHFIX mobile bicycle service, we do not replace spokes, as the safety of the repaired wheels and their owners is important to us and repairing spokes on the road is no substitute for professional bicycle repair. In order to avoid frustration here, we offer to bring the bike to our shop or we can research details about a new wheel, which we will install after receipt.
Center the wheel
When we need to center the wheel, our bicycle mechanic picks up the bike on the bike rack and checks exactly whether there is an imbalance. Should this be the case, road safety is no longer complete, as smooth running and functioning brakes can no longer be assumed. Here you should center the rim, tighten the spokes and check and adjust the brakes and handling afterwards. We offer this bicycle repair on the go as well as in our bicycle repair shop.

If you have Shimano brake pads, it is likely that we will have them right there - so we can replace all brake pads on site.
Adjust bicycle disc brake
Similar to the brake blocks, the broken disc brake pads or in the case of a disc brake, it is often the reason why the brake system no longer works. With our experienced bicycle mechanics, we can adjust the bicycle disc brake or replace it with the appropriate brake pads if necessary. So you can safely continue driving again.

Derailleur or hub gears are often one of the reasons why a bicycle repair shop is visited. Sometimes the cable has broken, sometimes the chain has jumped off or the individual gears are not adjusted correctly. In most cases, you can no longer solve these issues alone, which is why professional bicycle repair is required.

Here, for example, the professional bicycle repair shop can adjust a Shimano gearshift without the inclined cyclist having to worry about it. When setting an e-bike hub gear, things are often a bit more difficult, as the motor is often installed in the rear wheel.

As a first step, we remove stones, mud, soil and other debris from the chain that have bonded with the oil and grease of the chain over time. Rust has also often formed - for which there are also rust removal sprays. Only when everything is clean and smudge-free again can we move on to the next step - greasing the chain.

Change bike chain
On average, bicycle chains last around four thousand kilometers. The situation is different with belt drives - a bicycle belt lasts significantly longer - you assume 10,000 kilometers. However, heavy use or particularly long running times can cause earlier wear and, accordingly, change the bicycle chain or replace the belt drive earlier. With special tools, you can open the bicycle chain and finally apply the correct pressure to the chain with other special tools such as a chain tensioner. When we change the bicycle chain, we take the job seriously, have the right bicycle chain ready, install everything as part of the bicycle repair and ensure the correct chain tension at the end.

When carrying out extensive bicycle repairs, well-functioning lighting is an important factor for cycling safety. Not only is it important to see yourself well, but also to be seen in road traffic. Our standard bicycle inspection also includes a check of the front light and rear light and the entire lighting system. Road safety comes first!

The thread of the bicycle pedals often rusts over time and at some point the pedal breaks due to the high pressure when pedaling. Then sometimes the crank must also be replaced or the thread re-screwed in. This is very complex, which is why we always pay close attention to the condition of all parts that are exposed to high pressure as part of the bicycle repair and recommend changing the bike pedals early on.
