What is FLASHFIX - what services do you offer?

FLASHFIX is a stationary and mobile bicycle repair shop that offers fast and professional bike repairs, bike maintenance and bicycle inspections. Whether it's a tire change, brake adjustment or a full service — we'll come to you or you'll visit us on site. Our goal is to make your bike safe and functional again quickly.

How do I book an appointment at the bicycle repair shop?

You can simply book your appointment for our bicycle repair shop or mobile bicycle repair shop via our website. Choose the service you want, enter the location and time, and we'll take care of the rest. For spontaneous repairs, you can also visit our stationary workshop and then check in on site for an appointment.

How quickly can my bike be repaired?

We usually carry out our mobile repairs within around an hour. In our stationary workshop, most repairs are also completed within a day. For more extensive work, we will let you know in advance approximately how long it will take.

What makes you different from other bike repair shops?

In contrast to regular workshops, in addition to the classic bicycle repair shop, we also drive with an environmentally friendly cargo bike or, for further distances, with a workshop van directly to our customers front door to carry out repairs. We do not require our customers to wait weeks before we check their bike and perhaps accept it for repair, but are available at short notice and can be repaired quickly.

How much does it cost to repair my bike?

We have a standard price list for spare parts and for the work we carry out, some of which you can see on our website, but are always specified when booking. These apply to the mobile bicycle repair shop as well as to our shop. If you use the bicycle service for our mobile bicycle repair shop, a travel fee will also be charged, which is also listed in the price list. During the booking process, you will already see the individual prices for each spare part and the work to be performed individually. Should a mechanic identify further defects, problems or additional spare parts while working on your bike, you will receive an email or a phone call asking you to confirm or reject the additional work and/or spare parts. Only then will the bicycle repair be completed.

Which bike types & brands does FLASHFIX repair?

We repair all types of bikes, including city bikes, mountain bikes, e-bikes, racing bikes and cargo bikes. Our team has experience with all common brands and models and offers individual solutions so that your bike is in top shape again.

How does the mobile bicycle repair service work?

Our mobile bike service comes directly to your home, office or any desired location. You can book an appointment online and our trained team will drop by and repair your bike on site — quickly and easily. This saves you time and doesn't have to transport your bike. This bike service is particularly useful for cargo bikes.

Can I come to your bike repair shop without an appointment?

Yes, you can come to our workshop at any time without an appointment. You then have to check in on site with your details - but it is faster to book an appointment in advance. Of course, we will still try to repair your bike as quickly as possible.

Can I also have two bikes repaired in one appointment?

On average, we calculate one hour for a mobile bike service, so it would be nice if you include several bikes or longer special tasks in the booking so as not to be late with other customers and their bike maintenance appointments later on.

What is the background of FLASHFIX?

We love bikes and believe in sustainable transportation through them. We think that our cities must become more people-friendly and greener and that the bicycle is part of the way to this solution. This is how we want to make cycling and bicycle repair easy and convenient. There are many repair options for cars, but broken bikes are simply scrapped and bought new all too often because it is cumbersome to have them repaired. We want to fix this situation and make bike service and maintenance easily accessible and convenient for customers and get as many people on bikes as possible. That is our mission.

Do you also repair my e-bike?

Yes, our team is specialized in the repair and maintenance of e-bikes. We also carry out software updates and diagnostics directly on site or in our workshop — preferably for Bosch motors. Electronic components such as motors or batteries/batteries are not repaired for warranty reasons - you would have to have them returned to the manufacturer via your retailer.

Will you also repair my cargo bike?

Yes, we are happy to repair your cargo bike on-site, as well as in our shop. The bicycle service of cargo bikes on the street sometimes requires us to get a bit creative in order to get cargo bikes on a bicycle repair stand on the road, but regular cargo bike repair (tubes, chains, brakes, etc.) is also quite possible on the road.

Can I also buy spare parts from FLASHFIX?

Yes, we also offer high-quality spare parts such as tubes, tires, brakes and chains directly. Should lengthy research be required for a very specific spare part, we reserve the right to charge a fee for the research. With our mobile service, we bring the parts you need right away so you don't have to worry. Of course, we only use branded products that last a long time.

Do you also sell or rent bikes?

No, we are just a bicycle repair shop. This has the advantage that we mainly hire professional bike mechanics who only take care of inspecting, maintaining, repairing and caring for your bike. For the repair of bicycles, cargo bikes and e-bikes, we are therefore the professional partner for all brands - regardless of where you bought your bike.

Does FLASHFIX also offer commercial bicycle services?

Yes, we have a fleet of cargo bikes and workshop vans with which our mechanics travel to companies to carry out bicycle maintenance for company employees, for example. We also travel to many regions of Germany to keep bicycle fleets roadworthy and maintained, for example at restaurants or supermarket delivery services or at hotels and car dealerships.
